Hierbei betrifft es die Funktion Assimp::AC3DImporter::ConvertObjectSection der Datei code/AssetLib/AC/ACLoader.cpp der Komponente AC3D File Handler. Durch das Beeinflussen des Arguments it mit unbekannten Daten kann eine heap-based buffer overflow-Schwachstelle ausgenutzt werden. Umgesetzt werden kann der Angriff über das Netzwerk.
